Font licensing still matters
A system font may be available on one device and missing on another. Can I turn the result into my own handwriting font?
No. The ToolZone page previews typed text with handwriting-style font stacks. A custom font requires collecting your letterforms, mapping characters, adjusting spacing, exporting font files, and checking licensing and technical quality.
Why does the handwriting look different on another device?
A font stack can fall back to another installed font when the preferred face is unavailable. Exporting a PNG fixes the appearance for sharing, while a licensed embedded webfont is better for selectable responsive text.
Can I use the image as a signature?
Do not use generated writing to imitate a person's legal signature or consent. For legitimate electronic signing, use an approved signature workflow with identity, intent, recordkeeping, and document-integrity controls.
Can the handwriting image be edited later?
The exported PNG contains pixels rather than editable text. Save the original typed wording and settings separately. If frequent revisions are expected, keep the content as real text with a licensed handwriting-style webfont until final export.
