A browser collage workflow works on iPhone, Android, tablets, and desktops without requiring account access to a photo library service.
Prepare the photos first
Choose the images that tell one clear story and remove near-duplicates. Crop distracting edges, straighten horizons, and resize unusually large files before building the collage. Similar orientation and lighting usually produce a calmer grid.
Make the collage in a phone browser
- Open the Photo Collage Maker and choose 2 to 12 images.
- Select automatic columns or a fixed one-, two-, three-, or four-column grid.
- Choose square, story, portrait-post, landscape, print, or custom dimensions.
- Use Cover for edge-to-edge cells or Contain when every part of each image must stay visible.
- Adjust spacing and background color, then generate the preview.
- Export PNG for crisp graphics or JPG for a smaller photographic file.
Choose dimensions for the destination
A square 1080 by 1080 image is a practical social post. A 1080 by 1920 canvas suits a full-height story format, while 1080 by 1350 provides a portrait post. The landscape preset uses 1200 by 630 for a wide preview. Platform interfaces and recommendations can change, so confirm current requirements before a campaign launch.
Prepare a collage for printing
The print preset creates a 3000 by 2400 pixel 5:4 image. Pixel dimensions alone do not guarantee a physical print size or quality: the printer, paper, crop area, color profile, and expected viewing distance still matter. Request the lab's exact dimensions and bleed rules before ordering a large print.
iPhone and Android considerations
Browser file pickers differ by phone and operating-system version. Some expose recent photos, albums, camera capture, or cloud providers. ToolZone processes the selected images in the current browser; it does not connect to an iCloud or Google Photos account, publish to Instagram, or save directly into a social app.
What this tool does not create
The grid maker does not provide licensed collage templates, stickers, typography, video collage editing, physical printing, automatic face layouts, or a connected social-media posting service. Add captions separately with Add Text to Image, and use an authorized print provider for physical products.
