Plan the grid before slicing
Image Splitter is useful for Instagram grids, carousel artwork, printable tiles, game assets, collage pieces, and design handoffs where one source image needs to become multiple equal parts. Choose rows and columns based on the final layout, not only on the original image size.
A 3 by 3 split is common for profile grids, while 1 by 3 or 1 by 4 works better for carousel posts. If the important subject sits near a grid line, crop or reposition the source image first with the Image Cropper so faces, logos, and text do not get cut in awkward places.
Export and file-size tips
Each tile is generated locally from the uploaded image. Very large photos create larger tile files and can use more browser memory, especially on mobile devices. Resize the source first with the Image Resizer when you only need social-media dimensions.
After splitting, download individual tiles for quick use or ZIP all tiles for transfer to another device. Check the order before posting: most platforms display grid images in reverse upload order, so naming and previewing the tiles saves time. Compress the finished tiles with Image Compressor if upload limits are tight.

Choose one to twelve rows and columns, then create equal PNG tiles locally. A one-row, three-column split makes three horizontal carousel panels; a three-by-three split makes nine square grid positions when the source is square.
The tool divides by pixel coordinates and does not detect faces or automatically protect text from cut lines. Crop and position the source first, verify tile order, and download tiles individually if the optional ZIP exporter is unavailable.
